A Letter From Sherri 🤍🍭
Dear Neighbors, Friends and Loyal Chocoholics:
I’m writing with exciting news to share, and a heartfelt thank you. Sixteen years ago, what started as a fun part-time idea turned into something far greater than I ever imagined. Today, with a full heart and a few happy tears, I wanted to let you know that I am moving on to the next delicious chapter in my life: retirement! It means more time with my growing family, more travel, more adventures…but it also means that Basket Pizzazz will be closing its doors on October 30, 2025.
To say it’s been a joy would be an understatement. What began as a simple creative outlet became a thriving full-fledged business that shipped happiness to all 50 states — but no place meant more to me than right here at home in the Village of WestClay.
This neighborhood has been the heart of Basket Pizzazz. From the kids popping in with big smiles to the neighbors who quickly became friends, you made every single day special.
Please note: While our online orders are now closed, our physical store will remain open through October 30, so there’s still time to stop in, say hello, and stock up on your favorites one last time.
Thank you for embracing me from the very beginning, for cheering me on, and for letting me be a part of this incredible community. Your kindness, support, and smiles made every single day something I looked forward to.
To the many loyal customers beyond The Village of WestClay who placed orders year after year, sent kind messages, and helped this small business grow — thank you for being part of the journey and sharing in the joy.
While it’s bittersweet to walk away from a successful business and say goodbye, I’m filled with gratitude as I look ahead to a slower pace and more time with family and friends. Thank you for letting me bring a little love, a little sugar, and some candy-coated happiness to this community — and far beyond — for the past 16 years. It’s been the sweetest adventure of my life.
With all my love,
Sherri
